The Evolution of our On Hold Product

Way back in the olden days (1990) we were the first company to introduce third party Australian made on hold units to the WA market.

The unit that we presented (the M100) was an Australian designed and manufactured product that stored the message on an EPROM board, a cartridge about the size of a standard calculator. It was a simple but hardy machine that stayed on our product list for over 10 years - with its 'end of life' being announced in January 2007. This meant that we could no longer repair machines or provide new message cartridges, due to parts no longer being available, however there is still quite a number of these machines out in the marketplace, still working perfectly 15 years later!

Since that time, through extensive research and development, we have released a range of on hold product to the market - each one more technologically advanced than its predecessor.

In the late 90's we moved to using 'flash card' technology - where the messages were stored on a digital device the size of a credit card. These units could hold multiple messages, allowing the user to manually switch between messages, eliminating the risk of programs becoming out of date too quickly.

With advance of technology in the 'naughties', we created a unit that used the much smaller Multi Media card - which also have greatly increased storage space. The MMC units are still sold today, and are fantastic basic solutions for companies wanting a simple 'plug and play' machine.

In 2007, after extensive research and development, M2 released our newest system - the OnQue Web Managed Announcer - which is an interactive machine allowing users to manage and download their own messages from their computer desktop.
