2011 National Awards for Local Governement The City of Cockburn were recently announced as the winner in the 2011 National Awards for Local Governement, for its work in climate change and sustainability. Each year, the City commits more than $650,000 to invest in renewable energy systems, research, new technology, policy and community engagement, and this award is a testament to their efforts in these areas.

	2010 Corporate Golf Day M2 Technology held their Corporate Charity Golf day on Friday 29th October at The Cut Golf Course in Port Bouvard. The day was a great success with over $6000 being raised for two worthy charities, National Breast Cancer Foundation and PNHSAA.  Many participants went home with fantastic prizes from the raffle, auction and golf day prizes.

	Congratulations to the 009 boys! Powercraft boat #009,  raced by Scott Goodbody and our very own Justin Green, placed 2nd in this years Avon Descent.  It was a great effort by the boys who had to carry their powerboat through the majority of the course due to the record low water levels.

	Good Luck to Justin! M2 Technology are yet again sponsoring powerboats in this years Avon Descent. Boat 009 is being driven by Avon Descent veteran & M2 Technology account manager, Justin Green, who has seven Avon Descents already under his belt. Teaming with another Avon young gun, Scott Goodbody, the 009 team will be a force to be reckoned with.
